The Meridianbet First Montenegrin Football League championship continues today with the matches of the 31st round.

In the title fight, Sutjeska and Mornar have stood out, while Petrovac, Dečić and Budućnost are leading an uncertain race for the places that lead to Europe. The lower part of the table is no less interesting, where a fierce fight is being waged for survival and avoiding the play-offs.

The biggest attention will be focused on Tuzi, where Dečić welcomes the current champion Buducnost in the round derby.

Tuzan are third in the standings with a point more than Petrovac, or five more than today's rival.

Dečić celebrated in Ulcinj against Otranto in the first leg of the Cup semi-final a few days ago, and his performance in the league has been quite variable, especially in the second half of the season. On the other hand, the "blues" are in a mini-crisis, in a series of two consecutive defeats (Arsenal and Sutjeska) without conceding a goal, and they urgently need a reaction if they want to finish third (or fourth, in the event that Mornar or Dečić win the Cup) and enter the Euro stage.

"We are playing against a direct competitor for Europe, and after two consecutive defeats we want a positive result," said Buducnost captain and goalkeeper Milan Mijatović.

This season, Dečić and Budućnost have faced each other four times, three in the championship and once in the Cup. The Tuzans won both matches at home, the Podgorica team celebrated in the first part of the season, while the previous clash "under Gorica" ended goalless.

"We have to show and demonstrate great commitment and desire, that must not be questioned. I think the game will be decided by nuances, because the derbies with Dečić are mostly tough this season, and the importance of the game is huge for both us and them. That's why we have to be aware that details are crucial," the former national team goalkeeper is clear, who appreciates his rival:

"Dečić has quality players in all lines of the team, but I think they are strongest in the offensive. After all, that quality keeps them non-stop at the top of the table and they are close to the final of the Montenegrin Cup. However, we play for Buducnost and our obligation is to go for victory, especially because we are in a situation where we need a triumph if we want to keep our connection to the place that leads to Europe," concluded Mijatović.

Leading Sutjeska will host Jezera "near Bistrica".

Milorad Peković's team is four points ahead of second-placed Mornar at the top, while Plav are sixth, two points above the play-off zone.

The team from Nikšić has won its last five matches at home, while Jezero has only achieved one triumph and four defeats on the same field as a guest.

"Jezero is a very serious team, although they did not have a positive result in the second half. In the previous round, they showed that they are coming out of the crisis. We played a lot of tough and uncertain games with them. We enter every match with the desire to win. There are still six rounds left, I hope that the players will give their maximum," said Boris Milickovic, who will lead the team tomorrow in place of the suspended Milorad Pekovic.

This season, three matches and three different outcomes – one win and one draw.

"We're going game by game, to get what we want. And we want the title. I think we deserve it with our games and quality," concluded Milickovic.

Mornar wants to continue his fantastic form at the FSCG Training Camp, where he will face off against Mladost Lob.bet.

"Tomorrow we are going to visit Mladost, who have not won in the last two games, but they certainly have quality and we must not relax. We are ready for the game and we will try to achieve everything we have imagined on the field and take home three points," said Mornar midfielder Jovan Dašić.

Barani are on a streak of eight consecutive wins, including the Cup, while Donja Gorica have recorded one win and four losses in their last five games.

"It is certainly not easy to continue our winning streak in both the championship and the cup, but we must give our maximum at all times in order to achieve this and make the club and fans happy," said Dašić.

Tradition is also on the side of the coastal team, which has won the last six matches against today's rival, and only once was it a draw.

Arsenal welcomes Petrovac in the coastal derby.

The Tivat team is just above the play-off zone, while Petrovac is in fourth place, just a point behind Dečić and the place that leads to Europe. Arsenal is in good rhythm – in the last six matches they have recorded four wins and two losses, while the "sky blues" are not shining, having won only four points in the previous five rounds.

"We are visiting Arsenal in Tivat, a team that is extremely organized and disciplined. We are aware of the difficulty of the task, but our goal is clear - we are going for three points. We are ready, motivated and we believe that this is the moment to start a winning streak," said Petrovac's first team player, Nemanja Carević.

A big battle will also be fought in the north. The derby of the bottom will be played in Bijelo Polje, where last-placed Jedinstvo Franca and penultimate Bokelj SBBet will face off under the floodlights of the City Stadium.

These teams are separated by only one point, so it is clear that the host has an imperative to win in order to leave the bottom spot to their rival from Kotor. Interestingly, Jedinstvo won convincingly 4:1 in their only duel this season in Kotor, while the other two matches ended without a winner.
