The Montenegrin water polo team has been preparing for the World Cup qualifying tournament in Malta from April 7th to 13th for several days. As part of the preparations, the "Sharks" will play a test match against the USA team in Kotor tomorrow.

"We trained well with them these days, although neither they nor we were at full strength. However, we are expected to complete ourselves quickly. I believe there will be a nice atmosphere tomorrow and I expect great support from our fans," said our national team player Vasilije Radović.

Montenegro will play in Malta in a group with Kazakhstan, Argentina and Great Britain.

After three rounds, a table will be formed with the placement of all 24 participants, in accordance with the new ranking system that takes into account the results achieved, goal difference and the strength of the opponent.

"As for Malta, the first match will be easier, which we will use to adjust and improve the goal difference, which is important. We are going there to win a place in the final tournament," said Radović.

The Montenegro - USA match starts tomorrow at 7 pm, broadcast on TVCG.
