The team from Kotor qualified for the finals after a dramatic 22:20 win over Jadran from Herceg Novi in a penalty shootout. On the other hand, the home team Radnički defeated Šabac in the semifinals with a score of 15:9.
Primorac coach Athanasios Kehajas emphasized that his team expects a very difficult duel, but believes that the team from Kotor has its chances.
"We are honored to be playing in this Final Four. We have a tough match behind us, but in sports you always move forward. The final is one game and you never know what can happen. We know each other well and we will try to do our best," said Kehajas.
Primorac center Savo Ćetković believes that defense could be key in the fight for the trophy.
"In the semi-finals, we beat a strong opponent despite a poor defensive performance. In the final, I would have liked a game with fewer goals, because then the match would have been more uncertain. I believe we can be better than against Jadran," said Ćetković.
Radnicki coach Uroš Stevanović expects his team to have a better game than in the semifinals.
"Semifinals are always difficult because there is no recovery. I hope the players will recover and that we will show a better game in the final," said Stevanović.
Earlier in the day, Jadran and Šabac will meet in the third place match, and you can watch that match on the Public Service Broadcasting Service from 6 pm (TVCG 2).
