Shelton reached the final last year, and now he has lifted the trophy, after beating Italian Flavio Cobolli in straight sets – 6:2, 7:5.
The match lasted an hour and 32 minutes.
In the first set, the American took a 4:0 lead and it was clear that he would not waste the advantage he had gained.
The second set was even, played game by game until 5:5, when Shelton broke his opponent and then served for the triumph.
