Montenegro advances to semi-finals against Romania

Montenegrin water polo players will play today (6pm) against the Romanian national team in the quarterfinals of the World Cup qualifying tournament in Malta.

The "Sharks" achieved three routine and expected victories in the group (Kazakhstan, Argentina and Great Britain), while in the round of 16, they also convincingly defeated the tournament host, the Maltese national team. On the other hand, Romania was better than Slovakia, South Africa and Malta in the group, while in the match for placement in the top eight, they celebrated against Argentina.

The two best teams from this tournament will qualify for the final World Cup tournament, which will be held in Sydney at the end of July.
