The Bavarians now have a huge 12-point lead at the top over second-placed Borussia Dortmund, who lost to Bayer Leverkusen earlier, so Vincent Kompany's team could mathematically secure a new title in the next round. St. Pauli remained first below the line with 25 points, two less than Cologne.
The guests took the lead in the ninth minute with a goal from Jamal Musiala.
Leon Goretzka doubled Bayern's lead in the 53rd minute, and just 120 seconds later Michael Oliseh made it 3-0.
The fourth goal of the match was scored by Nicholas Jackson, who returned from suspension, in the 66th minute, and the final score was set by Guerreiro with his second goal of the match in the 89th minute.
Bayern also broke the record for the most goals scored in a single Bundesliga season today. The Bavarians scored 105 goals, surpassing their own record from the 1971/72 season when Gerd Müller and his teammates scored 101 times. It is clear that the Kompany's machine will increase this record further, as there are five rounds left to go.
