"Regarding the initiative launched by the Party of European Progress to remove the President of the Capital City Assembly, Jelena Borovinić Bojović, the Socialist People's Party clearly states that it will not support this proposal. We believe that political stability and responsible city governance cannot be built through ad hoc initiatives, but through dialogue and solving specific problems of citizens. After all, it is already evident that part of the majority, including the SNP, does not see this initiative as a solution to the current situation," he said in a statement.
He adds that the SNP remains consistent with the principles of responsible politics and institutional stability, and will not participate in political moves that do not have a clear developmental and constructive dimension.
"Our focus remains on improving the work of local government and resolving issues of importance to the citizens of Podgorica, and not on initiatives that are exclusively political in nature," he concluded.
