“Oni predstavljaju lijepu sliku grada, da se ljudi informišu. Da li će tu da se reklamira Smoki ili ugostiteljski objekat, to nije bitno. Što se tiče cijena, one se kreću 450 do 480 eura – ti neki osnovni bilbordi”, naveo je marketing ekspert Gondor produkcije Milos Novakovic.
Traffic expert Goran Carapic He pointed out that billboards are placed in intersection zones, on the dividing surfaces that divide the road lanes, next to the edges of the roadway.
"When we look at it from a traffic safety perspective, we can see that in pedestrian crossing zones, billboard holders can obscure pedestrians who need to enter the pedestrian crossing," Čarapić emphasized.
According to the latest available data from 2024, there are around 600 billboards in Podgorica. The interlocutors interpret this figure differently.
"That's dictated by the market. If there was no demand, there would be fewer of them," Novaković said.
Čarapić thinks there are too many billboards, appearing one after another.
"You can't remember them all even if you wanted to," said Čarapić.
There are no official statistics on the number of traffic accidents caused by the distraction of drivers due to billboard advertisements, Čarapić points out. He adds that such cases do occur in practice. The residents of Sagornica said that the solution is not to remove billboards, but that care must be taken where they can be placed, as well as their graphic design.
