The play "How Taboo Seeked Freedom" by the Theatre for the Blind and Visually Impaired "Novi život" will be performed on Wednesday, April 22, in the large hall of the KIC "Budo Tomović", at 8 p.m.

"How Taboo Seeked Freedom" explores issues of pity, shame, prejudice and taboos when it comes to people with disabilities. The play talks about things that are just part of the backstage pity and sighs in passing. The author team's desire is to speak openly about prejudice and stereotypes. Instead of remaining silent and shrugging their shoulders, they engage in open play.

The play was directed by Petra Radin, and stars Suzana Bliznac and Vojin Perić. The text is by Petra Radin and Vojin Perić.

Costume and set design were created by Dunja Niemčić, music by Saša Miočić, stage movement by Branko Banković, and lighting design by Nenad Lalović. Sound recording was done by Marko Horvat – Avid production and the Croatian Library for the Blind.
