Podgorica resident Dejan Kestner was released after tonight's hearing, and the judge said that a decision would be made at a later date.
"Dejan Kestner threatened me on Saturday night. He is a close relative of Srećko Kestner, whom I wrote about ten years ago. I gave my view of this case before the judge and why I believe his words were threats, and it all happened near my apartment," said Otašević.
He states that he explained to the judge why he thought these were serious threats.
"This is a man who is a close relative of a person connected to the Tobacco Affair case. We have a situation where all this is happening after the search and then the arrest of Aco Đukanović. A few months ago, RTV Podgorica had a show called "Controversy" in which Ana Pešukić, who worked as a teacher for Đukanović, testified, where she provided some details. A few months later, and the search of the apartment in the house where Pešukić worked, since then some strange things have been happening, which is why the prosecutor's office has been asked to assess my security. On the other hand, we have a situation where a man with whom I have not spoken is threatening me," said the director of RTV Podgorica.
Kako je Otašević naglasio, na suđenju je jasno kazao sudiji da je blizak rođak čovjeka kojeg je prijavio usko povezan sa Duvanskom aferom.
„Ta afera je svima poznata, posebno ljudima iz svijeta novinarstva. Ona nosi jedan traumatičan period u kom su stradali glavni odgovorni urednik lista „Dan“ (Duško Jovanović) i Ivo Pukanić u Hrvatskoj. Upravo Srećko Kestner se pominje u toj aferi, kao i Aco i Milo Đukanović. Zna se ko je i šta je svjedočio u programu RTV Podgorica“, zaključio je Otašević.
