She is suspected of the crime of false reporting. Vukšić's hearing was postponed at the request of Mirjana Pajković.
Vukšić confirmed to "Dan" that the statement given before the competent prosecutor's office was not completed within the planned time frame at the request of the other party.
– At the same time, I emphasize that I will duly respond to the next summons from the Basic State Prosecutor's Office. The content of the statement is part of the procedure and cannot be discussed outside the institutional framework. In this procedure, the only relevant thing is that a procedure has been initiated before the competent authorities based on the collected evidence, which will have its legal epilogue – said Vukšić.
After the scandal involving Pajković and Vukšić broke out, he resigned from his position as an advisor to the President of Montenegro. Pajković filed a criminal complaint against him, accusing him of threatening her by misusing the official landline phone in the President's office, and urging her to immediately report to the police. The prosecution dismissed the charges against Vukšić, which related to the criminal offenses of endangering security and misuse of someone else's recording, photograph, portrait, audio recording or documents with sexually explicit content. The charge against Pajković for the criminal offense of coercion to the detriment of Vukšić was also dismissed.
