Apelacioni sud Crne Gore je uvažio žalbe Višeg državnog tužilaštva u Podgorici i punomoćnika oštećene porodice Komnenić, pa je ukinuo presudu Višeg suda u Podgorici kojom su tri ljekara oslobođena optužbe da su izvršili krivično djelo teška djela protiv zdravlja ljudi, i predmet vratio prvostepenom sudu na ponovno suđenje.
O odgovornosti tri ljekara za smrt Danke Komnenić 2016. će se ponovo odlučivati
