"Officers of the Berane Security Department, taking further measures and actions regarding the events of March 21, 2026, when, after the end of the football match between FK "Jedinstvo" from Bijelo Polje and FK "Jezero" from Plav, a physical conflict between several people occurred near the city stadium, during which one person suffered serious bodily injuries, identified and deprived of liberty two more people - participants in the event," the police said.
The criminal investigation determined that, as suspected, AT (23) and BR (22) from Berane participated in the aforementioned incident and physically attacked DH and EH on that occasion, and, by order of the state prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Berane, they were deprived of their liberty on suspicion of committing the criminal offense of violent behavior.
2Police officers previously, on the order of the prosecutor, deprived four people of their liberty. DH and EH from Podgorica were deprived of their liberty on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of participating in a fight to the detriment of TN, while DD and IC from Berane were deprived of their liberty on suspicion of having committed the criminal offense of violent behavior to the detriment of EH and D.H2, the statement concludes.
