The Government of Montenegro has adopted a Bill amending the Law on Enforcement and Security, which envisages harmonisation with European regulations, simpler cross-border collection of claims and more precisely defined jurisdictions, deadlines and procedures in enforcement proceedings. The proposed amendments, as announced, should contribute to greater legal certainty and more efficient enforcement while protecting the rights of both debtors and creditors.
