"The Protection and Rescue Service received a call at 08:20 that smoke was visible from Gornja Lastva and we headed to the field with eight members of the service and three vehicles. Namely, it was an auxiliary building, which was completely burned down. The fire also threatened the neighboring building. The investigation is ongoing, and arson is suspected," the commander told Radio Tivat. Milorad Giljaca.
Tivat firefighters also had two interventions yesterday in the Krtole area.
"There were two uncontrolled fires in the field, one got out of control and engulfed the surrounding vegetation, threatening to engulf a wider forest belt. We were present in the field with a team of Municipal Police and we carried out the actions with the help of DVD Krtoli, so there were 10 firefighters at the location," said Giljača.
The commander also made an appeal.
"We ask citizens to be careful and report the location and time when they plan to set fire to both the SZS and the Municipal Police," he concluded.
