At a ceremony held on May 4, 2026 at the Ramada Hotel in Podgorica, they were presented with certificates by the Minister of Health, Vojislav Šimun.
The event was also attended by H.E. the Ambassador of Greece to Montenegro, representatives of the Ministry of Health, the Medical Chamber of Montenegro, as well as representatives of the World Health Organization, including the leadership of the WHO office. The support and contribution of the WHO office for health care quality in Athens, as well as the experts who participated in the implementation and evaluation of the program, were particularly highlighted.
The training program, which is part of a broader strategy to improve the quality of healthcare and patient safety in Montenegro for the period 2025–2028, aimed to strengthen the capacities of healthcare professionals and improve healthcare services. The ceremony also featured the most successful quality improvement projects, further emphasizing the importance of continuous work to improve the healthcare system.
The Andrijevica Health Center emphasizes that the participation of their doctors in this program and the certificates received represent a significant step towards further improving the quality of healthcare at the Andrijevica Health Center, with a special focus on patient safety, professional development, and the application of modern standards in medical practice.
