Panathinaikos basketball players are just one win away from the final tournament to be played at their "Oaka", after they defeated Valencia again as guests. In a match that will be remembered for a long time, the great from Athens celebrated 107:105 after overtime with a Hayes-Davis buzzer-beating basket.

It started off fiercely, with the teams exchanging the lead, and Panathinaikos leading 24:23 after the first quarter.

Nigel Hayes-Davies played a great second quarter, but Valencia didn't give up, so the visitors had a half-point lead at halftime, 49:48.

In the following period, Valencia pulled away to a plus seven 69:62. However, PAO turned the game around with a 9:0 run in a minute and entered the final quarter with a 74:71 lead.

Osman made it nine points with two three-pointers, but then Sergio de Larea also hit two three-pointers. The madness continued, when PAO took a 92:86 lead, as the home team immediately turned it around to 95:92 with a three-pointer by Taylor.

Džedi Osman then hit a three-pointer to tie the game at 95:95. It was a three-pointer on the backboard, and after Valenija failed to capitalize on the attack, Nan missed in the final seconds to win. The extra five minutes were mostly basket-for-basket.

After Montero's three-pointer, it seemed that Valencia could turn the game around, but Hayes-Davis responded in kind. The score was tied again, and Montero drew a foul from Hernangomez. However, he only made one shot, 103:102, which Hayes-Davis punished with a three-pointer.

PAO led 105:103, and then Kia brought things back to square one 105:105. Hayes-Davis had the last word and thus resolved the drama...
