The start was desperate – Mega scored the first eight points, and the home team scored their first field goal in the 4th minute, when Matic Rebec made a three-pointer to reduce the score to 4:8.
The first equalizer at the end of the 1st quarter was brought by Nikola Pavlićević, who then hit a three-pointer at the start of the 2nd quarter to make it 24:24.
