Choreographer and president of the Cultural and Artistic Association "Duga Montenegro", Marijana Maja Dakić, today, together with the children from the ensemble, had the honor of attending a meeting at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Montenegro, which was organized by Ambassador Ayda Ünlü.

This significant meeting is a confirmation of the successful work of our ensemble, but also of the support provided by the embassy and TIKA Podgorica coordinator, Nihal Ersoy, thanks to which the participation of the Cultural and Artistic Association "Duga Montenegro" at the international children's festival in Istanbul, from April 18 to 25, was possible. The visit is financed by TIKA, and support for the festival was provided in cooperation with the Esenler Municipality.

During the meeting, Ambassador Ayda Ünlü sent messages of peace to the children, congratulated them in advance on April 23rd, Children's Day, and wished them much success.

This is a festival of peace and, within the framework of April 23, Children's Day, it also marks the National Sovereignty Day of the Republic of Turkey.

We are proud to represent Montenegro through children's folklore and be part of an event that, through joint activities and symbolism, sends a message of peace, friendship and unity among nations.

We believe that culture, children, and art have the power to connect people and build a more beautiful and peaceful future.
