Ukraine and Russia are accusing each other today of violating the Easter ceasefire, agreed upon at the initiative of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.

The General Staff of the Ukrainian Army announced on social media that as of 7 a.m. this morning, 2,299 ceasefire violations had been recorded, the majority of which related to drone attacks.

There were no attacks with missiles or guided aerial bombs, the Ukrainian military said in a statement.

According to the Russian Ministry of Defense, more than 1,900 ceasefire violations were recorded from Saturday afternoon to this morning, the Tass news agency reported.

According to the agreement between Kiev and Moscow, the Easter ceasefire should last 32 hours - from Saturday at 4 p.m. local time in Moscow until the end of Sunday, the Kremlin announced.
