First, on Saturday, the 68th Montenegrin Cross Country Championship for all age categories will be held in Nikšić, and the following day, the 17th Montenegrin Shot Put Cup in senior, junior, young junior and pioneer competitions will be held in Bar.
The start of the competition on the fields below Trebjesa, whose technical organizer is the Nikšić Athletic Club and whose sponsor is the Athletics Federation of Montenegro, is scheduled for 11 am.
The 17th Throwing Cup of Montenegro will also be held at the "Topolica" Sports Center tomorrow at 11 am in the disciplines: javelin, hammer, discus and shot put.
-Final activities for both competitions are underway, including submitting applications to the Athletics Federation of Montenegro and preparing start lists. These events officially mark the start of the outdoor athletics season in Montenegro. The Athletics Federation of Montenegro has provided diplomas and medals to the winners in all categories of the Montenegrin Cross Country Championship, while the most successful teams in the men's and women's competitions will be awarded with winning cups. At the 17th Throwing Cup, the most successful team will be declared in accordance with the Rules and Regulations for ASCG competitions, which will receive the ASCG cup, said ASCG Secretary General Milan Madžgalj.
