Ahead of the match, Vučinić also spoke about his friendship with former Bulgarian national team player Valeri Božinov.
"We spoke a month and a half ago, we didn't talk about the game, but I have no doubt we will. He is a great friend of mine," said Vučinić.
The coach pointed out that the gathering was specific due to the end of the season and the fact that most players were thinking about taking a break.
"It's a bit of a specific gathering, everyone can't wait for the break, but the guys who were there encouraged me with their attitude. There were mistakes, but they were much more careful than at previous gatherings," said Vučinić.
He placed special emphasis on defensive organization and reducing the number of goals conceded.
"From training to training, we analyze mistakes. The goal conceded was not just a mistake by the back line, but by the entire team. I think we are improving in how we stand on the field and how we move when we don't have the ball. When it matters most, I am convinced that we will be scored the way I want," said the coach.
Vučinić also announced certain changes in the lineup.
"The guys know who's playing, we've already defined everything. There will be a lot of new things in the midfield and attack. We have two games and I'll give everyone a chance to see how much they can do. Now it's up to them to show themselves."
According to the coach, Montenegro will look to make a step forward against Bulgaria compared to their previous performances.
"I expect us to make a step forward compared to the last few games. First of all, I would like to win. We respect everyone, but in the end, the most important thing is the result, that is, the victory. Football is not merciful and the boys have to take advantage of the opportunity when they get it," said Vučinić.
He added that the coaching staff analyzes each opponent in detail.
"Any information is welcome. When I say I'm not interested in the opponent, it doesn't mean we don't analyze them. We've conceded a lot of goals and we have to minimize mistakes in order to try to keep the net."
Speaking about the work of his predecessors, Vučinić particularly singled out Miodrag Radulović.
"We are working on taking good things from coach Radulović, and there were many of them. After Cico Kranjčar, he was the closest we came to going to a big competition. I am trying to apply a lot of things from a great coach like Radulović."
Montenegrin national team player Ognjen Gašević, a member of CSKA 1948, emphasized that he knows Bulgarian football well, but warns that the opponent should not be underestimated.
"I have three teammates from the club on the Bulgarian national team and I hope to beat them tomorrow," said Gašević.
He emphasized that the biggest motivation is playing for the national team.
"The motivation in itself is to wear the Montenegro jersey. Maybe I'll adapt a little easier, because I know most of the players."
They expect a demanding duel against the host.
"These are not players to be underestimated. They will give one hundred percent of their abilities and will be very compact. We have to respond in the same way, to be patient. It will be a difficult match for us, but we believe in the good work we have done in the previous days. We are thinking positively, but we certainly have a hard job ahead of us," concluded Gašević.
