Marketa Vondrušova se povukla sa US Opena, pa je Arina Sabalenka bez borbe prošla u polufinale.

Šampionka iz 2023. godine odustala je nekih sat vremena pred zakazani meč, zbog povrede, čime je bjeloruska teniserka automatski prošla dalje.

Sabalenka, koja brani titulu u Njujorku, u polufinalu će igrati protiv domaće igračice Džesike Pegule – što će ujedno biti i repriza prošlogodišnjeg finala.
