The "Hellenians" thus took revenge on the "Reds" for the defeat in Athens three days ago.
Greece is now 3-1, while Montenegro is at half-time (2-2), as is Portugal. Romania is at 1-3.
Unlike the match in Athens, when they hit only six three-pointers out of 34 attempts, the Greeks were much more precise tonight – they hit 14 three-pointers out of 37 attempts. As many as half of the guests' three-pointers, from behind the 6.75 line, were scored by the enthusiastic and almost unstoppable Panathinaikos player, Toliopoulos.
Vasilis Spanoulis' team led almost the entire match, led by the in-form Toliopoulos, and by the middle of the third quarter had a 17-point lead (52:37). Montenegro came back with three-pointers by Đorđi Jovanović and an excellent roll by Igor Drobnjak, and reduced the deficit to minus four before the decisive quarter (57:53).

We had several attacks to get closer, but we didn't take advantage of them, and Greece made a 10:0 run through Toliopoulos in the opening four minutes of the decisive period, regaining a double-digit lead, and there was no turning back for Zoran Nikolić and his teammates...

ANNOUNCEMENT
Montenegrin basketball players will host the Greek national team tonight (7pm) at the M:tel "Morača" hall in a match from the fourth round of Group B of the World Basketball Championship qualifiers.
Just three days ago, the "Reds", led by Zoran Nikolić, defeated the same rival in the middle of Athens (67:65), and tonight, with the support of the fans, they will try to achieve another triumph over the giants.
After three rounds played, three teams have a score of 2-1 – along with Montenegro and Greece, Portugal has the same result, while Romania is at the bottom without a win (0-3).
This will also be Andrej Žakelj's farewell match on the national team bench, as Zvezdan Mitrović will take over the helm from the summer.
Compared to the duel in Athens, our team will be without captain Marko Simonović, who was released from the second match against the "Hellenic" in agreement with Turk Telekom. He will be replaced by Podgorica basketball player Mašan Vrbica.
