Turkey's football team has advanced to the final of the World Cup play-offs, after defeating Romania (1:0) tonight at the Tupras Stadium in Istanbul.

The man of the decision was Brighton defender Ferdi Kadioglu. The game was played in the 53rd minute. Arda Guler found Kadioglu with a fantastic deep ball, who did a great job and scored from the penalty area.

Midway through the first half, the guests hit the crossbar, and towards the end of the game, the goalpost, and shortly after the opening goal, Kenan Yildiz also hit the goalpost on the other side.

In addition to the two shots on goal, the Romanians had several promising opportunities both before and after their rivals' lead, but they failed to find the way to the net of excellent goalkeeper Ugurcan Cakir.
