The future of Montenegrin basketball together in a new environment: Vuk and Andrej Vujačić signed for Podgorica Bemax

New proof of this is the signing of contracts with two brothers – Vuk (2007) and Andrej Vujačić (2009), boys who represent the exceptional potential of the new generation of our basketball players.

Although extremely young, the Vujačić brothers already have senior experience behind them. Last season, playing in the elite tier of domestic basketball – the First A League of Montenegro, they showed maturity, character and talent that recommended them to the Podgorica coaching staff. The fight with older and more experienced players in the domestic championship was the perfect school for what awaits them in the jersey of their new club.

Vuk, who plays as a guard, made 24 appearances for IA MCKL Ulcinj last season, and was the team's second leading scorer with 239 points. He was recently part of our junior team at a tournament in France, where he was selected to the ideal five of the competition.

Good games were a recommendation to the club leaders to sign Vujačić and thus continue to gather pearls in their team.

In addition to him, the younger Andrej (born in 2009) is also arriving – despite still being a cadet, he possesses basketball intellect and potential that rarely goes unnoticed. Although extremely young, Andrej also managed to make 10 appearances for Ulcinj in the I MCKL last season.

The arrival of the Vujačić brothers to Podgorica Bemax is a logical step forward in their careers. The club, which has established itself as an ideal environment for the development of young players, with top-notch infrastructure in the Bemax Arena and professional work at the highest level, will provide the Vujačićs with all the necessary conditions to transform their undoubted talent into quality.

On the other hand, by hiring the Vujačić brothers, Podgorica sent a clear message that it is not thinking only about current results, but is systematically building a team for the future.

Their move to Podgorica Bemax officially opens a new chapter in their careers, and the club has secured signings from whom much is expected in the future.
