Notable results of Montenegrin veterans in Albania

Members of the Montenegrin athletic veterans achieved notable results at the international "Speed ​​Masters Athletics" competition held in Shkodra, from 21 to 24 May 2026, as part of the EMA European Masters Athletics League 2026 event. 

The competition brought together a large number of athletic veterans from several European countries, and the representatives of Montenegro worthily represented their country by achieving top results in several disciplines.

Slađana Pejović particularly stood out, winning the gold medal in the 1500-meter event and setting a new Balkan record in the stadium.

Radmila Čabarkapa also had an outstanding performance, dominating in five disciplines – 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m and 1500m, winning five gold medals and five first places.

Lazar Sekulić also achieved excellent results, winning three medals – gold medals in the long jump and the 3000-meter run, as well as a silver medal in the 200-meter run.

Competitor Biljana Radunović also had a notable performance in a very strong international competition, winning a gold medal in the 3000 meters, a silver medal in the 1500 meters, as well as fourth places in the 800 and 400 meters.

In the men's competition, Radomir Radunović also had a successful performance, winning a silver medal in the 1500 meters in strong competition, as well as fourth places in the 800 and 400 meters.

-The achieved results of our competitors confirm the quality, experience and dedication of Montenegrin athletic veterans, who continue to achieve significant successes on the international sports scene and promote athletics and the sports tradition of Montenegro in the best way, emphasized Dejan Živković, President of the Association of Athletic Veterans of Montenegro, who was the leader of the Montenegrin team in Shkodra.
