Our national team will have its third training session tonight, and the first with almost the entire squad, and midfielder Miloš Brnović outlined his expectations ahead of the two test matches.
"It's always nice to be here with these guys in the national team. We have friendlies ahead of us, but we see it as preparation for the next cycle of the Nations League. We're taking it game by game. Now our focus is on Bulgaria and Slovakia," Brnović said at today's briefing.
The "Falcons" will play both matches away - first on June 1st they will face Bulgaria in Plovdiv, and then four days later they will face Slovakia in Košice.
"We want to get the most out of the next two games and show ourselves in the best light. There will be time to talk about the Nations League. We all believe in ourselves and know that we can achieve a favorable result if we play well," Brnović emphasized.
The former midfielder of Buducnost, now a member of Arsenal from Tula, says that he has seen significant progress in his game.
"I think we can see progress in the game. We feel it. It can always be better, but we are optimistic. We are aware of the mistakes we made against Slovenia, and now it's up to us to correct them," Brnović concluded.
