Asvel basketball player Brian Angola was named the Most Valuable Player (MVP) of the 30th round of the EuroLeague, the competition's website announced.

He led his team to only their second away win of the season – a surprising triumph against Anadolu Efes in the heart of Istanbul (91:88).

Angola scored 26 points (4/7 for two, 3/6 for three and 9/11 from the penalty spot), in addition to having four rebounds and two assists, and forced nine fouls.

This is the 31-year-old Colombian's first MVP award, and he also becomes the second Asvel player to win the award this season. Bastien Vautier was the MVP of Round 18 with an index of 31, also against Efes.
