Mitar Paunović, a member of the Democratic Party in the Capital City Assembly, supported the initiative to lift the immunity of ministers and MPs in cases of organized crime and high-level corruption in the Pressing show on TV Podgorica, while Luka Vukotić, president of the URA Youth Forum, believes that justice in Montenegro exists, but it is slow and often selective. They agree that immunity should not be an obstacle to criminal responsibility, but that political speech should be clearly separated from criminal acts in order to ensure greater accountability of public office holders.
