As Prime Minister Spajić pointed out, this ambitious but achievable goal requires stronger political will, constant institutional coordination, and full responsibility of all political actors.
"During the talks, the focus was on defining the next steps in the demanding final stages of the negotiation process, with the agreement that the so-called blue flag laws, for which the European Commission's opinions have been received, are an absolute priority in the work of the parliament," the government said in a statement.
As they said, it was expected that most of the laws whose adoption is necessary for the purpose of harmonization with European regulations and in order to close the negotiation chapters can be adopted by the end of July, that is, by the end of the regular spring session of the Parliament of Montenegro.
"The importance of political dialogue in parliament was particularly emphasized, bearing in mind that political stability is a prerequisite for the successful completion of negotiations," they concluded in the statement.
The Prime Minister's talks with opposition representatives are planned for tomorrow.
