At the beginning of the meeting, it was noted that relations between the Parliament of Montenegro and the National Assembly of Republika Srpska are recording continuous progress and that cooperation is on an upward trajectory, and that this is precisely the way to preserve and strengthen peace, stability and dialogue in the region.
During the conversation, President Mandić informed his interlocutor that in May this year, Montenegro will host a large Summit of Speakers of Parliaments of the Member States of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Mediterranean, where the focus will be on Montenegro's imminent membership in the European Union, but also on support for all countries in the region, including Bosnia and Herzegovina. Mandić added that he had recently spoken to PAM Secretary General Serđo Pjaci on this very topic. In this context, President Stevandić expressed his interest in the House he heads, in the coming period, participating in the work of this international organization as an observer.
At the end of the meeting, the interlocutors expressed their willingness to further deepen parliamentary cooperation, and on that occasion, President Mandić presented the host with a painting of the Žabljak fortress, the capital of the lord of medieval Zeta, Ivan Crnojević.
