In the Podgorica neighborhood of Siti Kvart, new roads are being completed as part of the "Radoje Dakić" DUP - construction of a new roundabout is also nearing completion.

"Street D is the main road in this neighborhood and Street C, which we have now completed, branches off from the roundabout, along with part of Street E. The total length of these roads is 475 meters and ends at these two roundabouts, where connections for future roads have been left," said Sanja Čukić from the Podgorica Construction and Development Agency.
The roads have a carriageway width of six and seven meters, as well as sidewalks on both sides that are two meters wide.
"As part of the works, installations were carried out, including atmospheric sewage, an absorption well, fecal sewage, public lighting and traffic sewage at the end of the works," she said.
The road will connect the City Quarter with Cetinje Road, says Čukić.
"This road connects the roads that currently exist around the roundabout and further down at the gas station, until conditions are created for the continuation of work and these facilities have garages, meaning that garage users are connected to the rest of the traffic infrastructure via this road," she concluded.
The works will cost around 850 thousand euros including VAT - authorities expect the new roads to significantly relieve heavy traffic in that part of the city.
