The Agency states that the works are being implemented on the principle of partnership with apartment owners, with tenants financing 50 percent of the investment value, while the remaining part is provided by the Capital City.
The greatest interest among citizens, as they point out, is in the renovation of facades using thermal insulation materials, but there is also a significant number of requests for the reconstruction of flat and pitched roofs, as well as for the interior decoration of common entrances.
A particular challenge is the work on skyscrapers. Currently, work is being carried out on one of the skyscrapers in Serdara Jola Piletića Street, as well as on the Russian Tower M2, while work is planned to begin on two more skyscrapers in Blok.
In parallel, the campaign "For a more beautiful face of Podgorica" is being implemented at several locations in the city. Works are underway in Mitra Bakića Street and Oktobarske revolucije Street, while work is expected to begin soon in Aerodromska Street.
When it comes to the most common problems pointed out by tenants, the Agency states that these are mainly worn-out facade surfaces and roofs on older buildings, with the problems being most pronounced with flat roofs.
The activity plan until the end of the year, as they state, largely depends on the willingness of residents to participate in the implementation of the projects, but based on the approvals received so far, they expect that the works will be implemented in several parts of Podgorica.
