Police officers of the regional border police Center "Center" – border police stations and Niksic yesterday, in Počekovići, Municipality of Niksic, controlled a person M. P. (21) citizen of Bosnia and Herzegovina with a stay in Niksic, who was driving a vehicle with Niksic license plates.
"When inspecting the vehicle, a Zastava M48 rifle with an integrated red Dot sight of the Vortex brand was found, a zipper from the rifle, and a box with 12 pieces of associated ammunition, in illegal possession. After the information collected from this person, the state prosecutor in the basic state prosecutor's office in Niksic was informed about the event, who ordered that M. P. be deprived of his liberty due to the suspicion that he committed the criminal offense of illicit possession and carrying of weapons and explosive materials,“ the Police Administration said.
Today, with a criminal complaint, he will be brought to the Acting Prosecutor for further jurisdiction.
