"Immediately after learning about the incident, police officers took action within their jurisdiction. In the official premises of the Pljevlja Security Department, information was collected for the record from DJ (25) from Nikšić, a player of RK "Rudar" who was diagnosed with minor bodily injury by a doctor," the police said.
In addition, information was also collected from MD (35) from Cetinje, a player for RK Zabjelo.
"The prosecutor at the Basic State Prosecutor's Office in Pljevlja has been informed of everything, and he stated that there are no elements of a criminal offense for which prosecution is being undertaken ex officio. The possible existence of a violation committed by MD will be assessed," they concluded in the statement.
As a reminder, the first team player of the Podgorica club, Mirko Damjanović, attacked two Rudar players at the end of the match, and the police say they collected information from local handball player Dragan Jelušić.
