Participants had the opportunity to receive comprehensive and practical information on ways in which local government can further empower small and medium-sized enterprises in using national and international funds to improve their business.
"During the panel, the attendees were addressed by the Mayor of Rožaje Municipality Rahman Husović and the team leader of "Municipalities for the EU - Strengthening Local Self-Governments in the European Integration Process" Branka Mračević, and the support programs were presented by the consultant for support to small and medium-sized enterprises Aleksandar Janičić and Stefan Jovanović from the Projects Sector of the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro," they said in a statement.
The Mayor of Rožaje expressed his satisfaction with the initiative to implement such ideas throughout Montenegro, emphasizing that the local government is always open to projects that bring concrete benefits to citizens and the economy.
"Our municipality has continuously achieved good cooperation in the field of European funds. I am particularly proud of the wastewater treatment system project, worth over 16 million euros, whose implementation is in the final phase," said the Mayor of Rožaje.
He also emphasized the success of the project to support small businesses in the wood processing sector, worth over 400,000 euros, in which the municipality participated in the financing.
It was concluded that cooperation with consultants and the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro, which provides necessary guidelines to businessmen, is key for further development. The Municipality of Rožaje remains committed to creating an environment that recognizes the needs of the community, with full sensitivity to projects that will improve the quality of life of all citizens.
