Second place, a silver medal and a cash prize of 600 euros was won by the team from the Public Institution Secondary Mixed School "Mladost" - Tivat, consisting of: Ivan Razuvaev, Ognjen Kovačević and Vuk Banićević, with mentor Žaklina Laković.
Third place, a bronze medal and a cash prize of 450 euros was won by the team from the Secondary Vocational School - Pljevlja, consisting of: Aleksa Laović, Mirko Krstonijević and Maid Bojadžić, with mentors Slavica Gajević and Đurđa Gigović.", they said in the statement.
The "Energy in a Wire" competition has been an official national skills competition since 2022, and is organized by the Center for Vocational Education in cooperation with the Montenegrin Electricity Distribution System (CEDIS) and the Association of Electrical Engineering Teachers of Montenegro (UNECG) with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation. This event is an excellent example of how the education system and the economy can together contribute to the development of vocational education and the creation of qualified personnel for the labor market.
The competition coordinator on behalf of the Vocational Education Center was Slavica Jovanović, while the members of the Organizing Committee were: Miliana Dabović, Katarina Todorović and Magdalena Jovanović. The members of the Organizing Committee on behalf of CEDIS were representatives of the Corporate Communications Department: Jelena Damjanović and Kristina Bajić-Martinović.
