"The lack of kindergartens, schools, health centers and sports facilities in any part of the city has a direct implication on the quality of life of the residents of these settlements, but also of all others in Podgorica. The previous shortcomings of the Siti Kvart were mainly "covered" by the infrastructure facilities of blocks 5 and 6, Tološ and Kruševac. This resulted in overloaded capacities, and therefore the quality of services provided," said Mujović.
He says he was very pleased to receive the news that by the end of May they could get a contractor for the construction of the elementary school on Vojvode Maša Đurovića Street, which will have 30 classrooms, supporting offices, a gym, a library, an area for extended stay and outdoor classes, sports fields, an athletics track and a botanical garden.
"I would especially like to emphasize the contribution of Ministers Anđela Jakšić-Stojanović and Majda Adžović, who defined the construction of this facility as a priority. Their dedication is for the joy of future generations, but also for the city authorities, which in this way solve a noticeable problem," emphasized Mayor Mujović.
