"I am particularly pleased that this year's competition brings together a large number of young people who are united by the desire to learn, research and develop their ideas. It is precisely such values - knowledge, innovation and creation - that represent the foundation of development and real progress," said the President of the Assembly.
The 2026 World Robot Olympiad brought together a record number of participants, 121 teams and more than 500 young people from all over Montenegro, once again confirming the growing interest in robotics and innovation among young people.
The President emphasized that the greatest value of such events lies precisely in young people who do not wait for the future, but actively build it, and that such competitions represent an important space for learning, connecting, and exchanging knowledge.
The event was attended by Prof. Dr. Anđela Jakšić Stojanović, Minister of the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, while the attendees were addressed by Ms. Marica Melović, Director General of the Directorate for Scientific Research at the Ministry of Education, Science and Innovation, Ms. Mira Vuiti, representative of the Embassy of Hungary in Montenegro, as well as Dr. Vladimir Božović, Rector of the University of Montenegro, who officially opened the seventh state robotics competition.
The event brought together talented elementary, high school, and college students, providing them with the opportunity to develop their skills and ideas that prepare them for modern technological trends through solving challenging tasks in the field of robotics.
The most successful teams will have the opportunity to represent Montenegro at the international level.
