The events at the Podgorica-based Parking Servis company, which have been shaking relations between the union and management for months, have come into the public's attention, as well as local authorities. Podgorica Mayor Saša Mujović says he does not want to judge either side, but rather insists on results and finding a compromise, warning that otherwise the dispute could end up in court.

"I stand behind the words spoken at the assembly rostrum and I have only one goal, that the city company Parking Servis attracts attention exclusively with the results achieved," Mujović said in a statement to CdM.

He emphasizes that the results are not in dispute, recalling that in the previous year, twice as much profit was achieved as planned, but that, despite this, problems within the company came to the fore.

"Unfortunately, the shaken trust between the trade union organization and the company's management, as well as the procurement of company cars, are the dominant subject of public interest," Mujović said.

The mayor says he understands the employees' dissatisfaction, but also emphasizes the professionalism of the management.

"I understand and respect the position of the dissatisfied employees. Likewise, it would be unfair if I did not say that the director Nikola Lazovic "He processed every work obligation and every request I made to him in a highly professional manner. That is why it is ungrateful to 'choose sides' and judge in anyone's favor," Mujović pointed out.

He added that he has already requested an official statement from the management regarding the union's accusations, including the controversial procurement of official vehicles.

"I requested written information from the management of the Parking Service regarding the Union's allegations and the (un)disputed purchase of the car, and I have no doubt that I will receive a statement," said Mujović.

At the same time, he warns that there are also accusations from the other side, namely that some employees are not fulfilling their work obligations, especially those who are the most vocal in criticizing the management.

"In any case, my suggestion will be to find a compromise measure. If there is no good will and understanding to reach a compromise, then lawsuits and court cases are the only way out of the situation," concluded Mujović in a statement to CdM.

At the session of the Capital City Assembly on April 16, Mujović pointed out the existence of problems within the company, also referring to the case of granting assistance to an employee, who he stated was a member of his extended family.

"It's about the aid that the company gave to a person, that's how it turned out, I have nothing to do with it, she's even my cousin, who works at the Parking Service long before I was in this position. She has a child with special needs. Believe me, her salary, from what I've seen, is much higher than mine. I don't know what else I can tell you. Condemn everything she did badly or illegally," Mujović said at the time.
