Rising prices for industrial products

Prices of imported industrial products in Montenegro increased by 0.2 percent in the first quarter compared to the same period last year, according to Monstat data.

"Compared to the first quarter of last year, the mining and quarrying sector remained unchanged, while the manufacturing sector recorded growth of 0.2 percent," the statement said.

Prices of imported industrial products in Montenegro in the first quarter decreased by 0.1 percent compared to the fourth quarter of last year.

"Compared to the fourth quarter, the mining and quarrying sector remained unchanged, while the manufacturing sector recorded growth of 0.1 percent compared to the first quarter of this year," said statisticians.

Producer prices of industrial products for export in Montenegro in the first quarter of this year, compared to the same period last year, recorded an increase of 0.1 percent.

"Compared to the first quarter of last year, the mining and quarrying sector recorded a decline of 1.2 percent, while the manufacturing sector recorded a growth of 0.4 percent," the statement said.

Producer prices of industrial products for export in Montenegro increased by 1.2 percent in the first quarter compared to the fourth quarter of last year. Compared to the fourth quarter, the mining and quarrying and manufacturing sectors increased by 0.3 percent and 1.4 percent, respectively.
