And it's possible: Neuer without a defense against PSG

Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Neuer did not make a single save in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final against Paris Saint-Germain, according to official statistics.

The Bayern goalkeeper thus became the first goalkeeper since detailed statistics began to be tracked in 2010 to concede five or more goals in the knockout stages of the Champions League without making any saves.

It was also the first time in his career that he conceded more than four goals in an elite competition match, and he played 160 matches.

"You saw for yourself what the goals were like. Any of them were difficult to save. On two occasions it was very close, maybe I could have reached the ball or at least touched it," Neuer said after the match.

He says he is aware that he was not up to par.

"Conceding five goals is a blow for any defense and goalkeeper. But we're not hiding. We're focused on the second leg," added the Bayern goalkeeper.
