As stated in the lawsuit submitted to the Basic Court in Podgorica, the dispute relates to a show broadcast on March 7, 2026 on Adria TV, in which Zogović, as a guest, spoke about the affairs he linked to Prva Banka.
"The Prva Banka affair, juggling one million 11 times between the state and Prva Banka, providing guarantees to that financial institution by his own brother...", among other things, is stated in the disputed statements of Milun Zogović, which the bank quotes in the lawsuit.
They are seeking 5,000 euros for violation of personal rights, the right to honor, reputation, dignity and damage to reputation.
Prva Banka claims that these allegations are untrue and have damaged its reputation and reputation, and that they are aimed at publicly compromising the institution.
"It is obvious that the defendant's unlawful allegations are specifically directed at the plaintiff with the aim of publicly compromising him and causing non-pecuniary damage," the lawsuit states.
The bank also clarifies in the document that the disputed funds, which are mentioned in public statements, relate to budget transactions between the Ministry of Finance and the public company Regional Water Supply of the Montenegrin Coast, and that they were recorded as a client deposit, not as bank funds.
"These funds represent the depositor's property and the bank's obligation to the client, and are not the bank's own funds nor can they be used for its needs," the explanation states.
The lawsuit also states that Prva Banka believes that the allegations about "11 million" are misinterpreted and do not correspond to the way the banking system functions.
The bank also refers to the practice of the European Court of Human Rights in the document, stating that freedom of expression is not absolute and must be limited when it comes to protecting the reputation and rights of others.
"Freedom of expression is not unlimited and must be exercised in good faith, based on accurate and verified information," the lawsuit states, citing relevant rulings from European and domestic courts.
Prva Banka requested compensation for non-pecuniary damage, cessation of further violations of personal rights, and publication of the court decision.
The proceedings will be conducted before the Basic Court in Podgorica.
