Under the auspices of the company doMEn, within the Spark.me STEAM Adventure, online lectures and workshops were organized for the competitors, which was an opportunity to better learn about topics such as modern innovations, programming and artificial intelligence, as well as to demonstrate their skills in solving the assigned tasks. The best 10 four-member teams presented their innovative ideas for the further development of modern cities, before an expert jury (spec.sci Biljana Krivokapić, MSc Aleksandar Plamenac and dr Ivan Martinović).
The best three teams were awarded valuable prizes and recognitions. The first prize was won by the NPU team (Natalija Marniković, Mina Vujović, Teodora Agramović and Una Perazić). The second prize was won by the SENSECITY team (Lara Tošić, Andrija Đurović, Boris Vukić and Janko Zeković). The third prize went to the HEISENBERGS team (Nikola Skupnjak, Marko Petrović, Uroš Drakul and Petar Jašović).
According to the coordinator for scientific communication and cooperation, MSc Marija Vojinović Nikčević, the goal of this project was to develop practical skills in the field of electrical engineering, programming and ICT by solving real challenges of modern cities. The participants of the competition provided proposals for the development of new technologies for waste management, new traffic automation, energy-efficient systems, as well as for improving the level of inclusiveness of the environments in which we live. The project was implemented in the period 09/2025-04/2026 and represents one of the important steps in the popularization of the STEM field among young people.
