The epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of five kilometers and a distance of 149 kilometers from the city of Larissa, and it occurred at exactly 6:20 a.m. local time.
There are no reports of injuries or property damage so far.
According to eyewitness accounts published on the EMSC website, the earthquake was felt strongly and lasted for a long time.
It was also felt in Albania, where people testified that they felt a mild earthquake lasting 10 seconds.
