Montenegrin boxer Vasilije Kujundžić failed to qualify for the finals of the prestigious international tournament "Adriatic Pearl", which is being held in Budva for the 35th time.

In the semi-final match in the 90 kg category, the Ukrainian boxer was better than the Montenegrin representative. Vladislav Naumenko, who deservedly reached the victory and reached the final. Although Kujundžić gave his maximum and showed great fighting spirit, his quality rival from Ukraine was more confident and more specific during the fight, so the unanimous decision of the judges was a realistic outcome.

Naumenko was especially dominant in the final rounds, and the referee was forced to count the Montenegrin boxer twice – at the end of the first and third rounds, which further steered the course of the match in favor of the Ukrainian competitor.

Despite the defeat, Kujundžić worthily represented Montenegro at one of the strongest youth boxing tournaments in the region, which this year brought together around 130 fighters from 18 countries.
