The Resurrection of Christ is a time of hope, faith, and spiritual renewal, and it is precisely these values that are woven into this project, through which the "Vokalisti" choir continues to nurture the rich tradition of Orthodox spiritual music.
The composition was recorded in the Church of the Resurrection of Christ in Podgorica, both in the crypt and in the church itself, whose monumental and sacred ambience further emphasizes the depth and power of the performance. The choir would like to express its special gratitude to the head of the church, Archpriest Nikola Pejović, for his trust, kindness and support during the realization of this project.
The performance is characterized by a pure choral form without instrumental accompaniment, through which the unity of voices, precision and emotion for which this ensemble is recognizable are expressed.
The video was produced by Dejan Senić from Bubulj Production, while the vocals were recorded and arranged by Saša Gajić at Musicland Studio. The production and artistic direction of the project is under the direction of the choir conductor, music professor Saša Barjaktarović.
Just a week earlier, the "Vokalisti" choir released the composition "Anima Christi" on the occasion of Catholic Easter, thus marking both major Christian holidays in a special way through art and music.
With this project, "Vokalisti" continues a series of significant artistic achievements, confirming their dedication to classical and spiritual music with the diverse repertoire that this ensemble cultivates.
While the holiday of the victory of life over death is celebrated in the homes of believers, the sounds of this prayer performed by the "Vokalist" remind us of the universal values of faith, hope, and unity.
