Just like the previous weekend, on the occasion of Catholic Easter, the square in front of Budva's Old Town once again shone in its most beautiful glory today, with children's smiles and playful energy.
"We shared sweet, little surprises and Easter gifts that I'm sure brought a smile to both the children and their parents," said the representative of the Budva TO, Tamara Marković.
The youngest citizens of Budva, as well as numerous tourists from the region and distant destinations, who are spending the Easter holidays in the metropolis of tourism, enjoyed the entertaining and diverse program.
"We came from Belgrade for a short vacation and it's fantastic that a program was organized for children on the occasion of today's holiday. We really enjoyed it, the children played great," a tourist from Belgrade told us.
"We are originally from Sri Lanka, but we live in England. We came here for the Easter holidays and we had a great time and really enjoyed ourselves. Budva is a very good destination for tourists," said another tourist.
The Budva Tourist Organization is also announcing new activities in the coming period.
"What awaits us... The May Day holidays in Budva will be marked by the XXIII International Tourist Budva Carnival, which will be held from April 30 to May 3 under the slogan "Carnival in the Heart". Abrum - an invitation to the carnival along the Budva Riviera will be organized on April 30. On May 1, Abrum will be organized on the streets of Budva and in the Old Town, after which performances by tribute bands Band X AC/DC and GIFT David Bowie will be held in front of the walls of the Old Town, and the Budva band Jack Lupino will perform inside the Old Town", emphasized Marković.
Budva is also announcing an exciting start to the summer tourist season with a glamorous opening ceremony planned for May 9th.
