"It's not acceptable to me. I've studied it, I've studied everything - it's not acceptable," Israeli public broadcaster Khan quoted Trump as saying in a brief phone call.
In further comments relayed in Hebrew by Khan, Trump says the campaign is going "great."
He says the Iranians want to reach a deal, "but I'm not satisfied with what they've offered," adding that there are things he can't agree to.
Regarding his repeated demands that Israeli President Isaac Herzog pardon Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu in his criminal trial, Trump says:
"He is a wartime prime minister. Israel would not exist without me and Bibi, in that order. You need a prime minister who can focus on the war, not on nonsense," he added.
